You will be involved in all parts of the product and process.

Your tasks will include:

• Attend “3 amigos” meetings where we discuss requirements and define what needs to be done
• Discuss development approach with colleagues inside the PHP team and the quantitative modelling team
• Write clean PHP code for frontend and backend using PHP8 and Laravel
• Write clean html and JavaScript code for frontend using native code and Vue
• Refactor code that we have identified to be improved or replaced
• Respond to bug reports from our QA team or from our clients
• Write unit tests and feature tests using PHPunit
• Commit your work using git and Github
• Review other developers’ code
• Improve and extend your skills by learning and sharing with other developers

KYOS Energy Consulting develops financial analysis software for trading, valuation and risk management in energy and other commodity markets. The software is in use at large corporations, mainly energy companies, large industrials and trading houses. KYOS continuously works on the further improvement, extension and integration of its software suite.

Our office is located in the old center of Haarlem, the Netherlands. It is a 10 minutes walk from the central railway station, and easy to reach from Amsterdam, The Hague and Leiden. KYOS has an international team and works for clients in Europe, North-America and Asia.
